Personal:
Dr. Blewett joined Southwest Pulmonary in 2010. Originally he was born in Harrisburg, PA but spent most of his childhood in Austin, TX. Eventually he came to the DFW area to attend Medical School. He chose to study and work in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine because of the diverse, intense and challenging nature of the problems within the spectrum of disease. His wife is also involved in medicine and is an OB-GYN with Women’s Health Specialists of Dallas. Currently he lives in Plano with his wife, two daughters and Whippet-Pyrennes puppy dog. In his time off he enjoys being active by running, playing lacrosse or soccer.
