Dr. Hughes has won teaching awards at both Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and St. Paul Medical Center for his role in medical resident education. Additionally, he has served as President of the Medical Staff, Medical Director of adult intensive care units and Respiratory Therapy, and Chairman of Clinical Risk Committee at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. Dr. Hughes enjoys running, hiking, fishing and swimming.
